Always blessed with the charm and charisma so prominent for the DeLaudé family, Isabela Rose used her wits and beauty to secure a place of respect at the temple to Calistria. In her family’s home city, Reggio Calistriano, the goddess of lust, trickery and revenge is well loved by her people. Isabela had a fascination with the city’s namesake temple from a young age, always envying the elegant clothing and attention the prostitutes of Calistria received.

Determined to carve out her own niché amoung her many brothers and sisters, Isabela made most of her trips to the temple in secret. She would often serve the priestesses and running errands for the prostitutes, hoping to earn their favor for when she came of age. At sixteen she was welcomed into the temple with open arms, already having been well-known by those there for years.

Behind the glamour that drew her in as a young girl, Isabela has discovered the finer arts attributed to her goddess. Her behind the scenes training has consisted of using her wits and charm to carry out the will of Calistria. She quickly learned that revenge is a dish best served in secret, behind closed doors and a charming smile. Her mentor Felicia has diligently trained her in a wide manner of things. First, alchemy. Most of the women, smaller in stature, favored poison as a method of overpowering their larger (and quite often male) targets. She has also spent a significant amount of time working on the intricacies of small, well-hiden traps, effective for dispensing the poison.

On a more public note, Felicia trained Isabela well in the nuances that accompany being a courtesan. The proper sounds to make, subtleties of body posture and movement and the proper expressions and tones of voice are all integral parts of being a successful whore. There is so much more to it than a pretty face. Isabela’s ability to learn quickly has paid off and after only one year of training, she was assigned one of the more secretive duties of the temple. Felicia was bid to eliminate a particular individual who had incurred Calistria’s wrath of revenge. She passed the contract to Isabela, who seduced and ultimately poisoned the man. Things went without a hitch and since then Felicia has continued her training with more in depth, yet overtly subtle techniques.

Physically she was blessed with smooth, olive-toned skin, long, delicate tresses and a dazzling smile. Her plush, full lips are often kept unpainted, and she only enhances her ravishing eyes. Rich auburn hair falls to the middle of her back (which isn’t all that long when you consider she stands a full 5’2") and she often wears it in a braid that hangs playfully over her shoulder. Her youthful appearance is complimented by soft and subtle curves, accentuated by the various robes she wears at the temple.

When it comes to her family Isabela adores her mother. She always is buying her small gifts and the like with the gold she earn at the Siren’s Call. Her big brother Vincenzo was rarely around while she was growing up and she never did quite come to understand her parents favoritism towards him. The big brother she calls on for favors is Lucio. Big, scrappy and with heart as big as his biceps, Lucio was disappointed in her when she first started working at the temple. It took a great deal of coercion before she got him to come to terms with it. But the day she invited him to meet her at the Siren’s Call, so she could show him where she lived, he happened to walk in while a drunk patron was manhandling one of the other girls. Lucio, true to form, immediately stepped in and sent the guy walking, well, limping out of there. When the girl showed Lucio her “gratitude” he came to terms with Isabela’s chosen profession completely. He even has helped her when she’s had to carry out wishes of the goddess, passed down from her mentor, Felicia. One time she needed him to arrange the beating of a particular city resident. Lucio got a bit drunk…and a bit sidetracked. Brawling with a random guy, the wrong guy, the desired effect was still reached. She doesn’t tell him details, only places, faces, times. She also makes sure she pays him liberally in booze.

Isabela was alsp born a twin. She is the younger one by only a single minute, a fact that Mario enjoys reminding her of on a daily basis. He takes his role as her twin brother very seriously, being very protective and even overbearing at times. The bond between them is a bit closer than the other siblings, even Lucio, and Mario often included Isabela when he’d play pranks on their brothers and sisters. With them being twins, as well as partners in crime, they are unconditionally there for each other, the first one called if a helping hand is needed. All of his bossiness aside, Mario is the brother she trusts implicitly, telling him the details and secrets she’d never dare tell anyone else.

Even though Mario ended up a fisherman and she a prostitute at the temple, they share one particular talent; they are both gifted singers. He is a seasinger, but she uses her voice in a different way. It has only added to her allure around the temple and she can often be heard singing, even if only to herself. Being proud of her accomplishments at the temple has had one drawback however: Her overprotective and often overbearing brothers have a bad habit of visiting her at work…and chasing off more than one of her clients. (Especially Mario.)
